UNESCO, World Journalism Education Congress, European Journalism Training Association (EJTA) and institutional member of EJTA – South Ural State University (Chelyabinsk) are pleased to invite you to the international online round table “Journalism education in the era of social networks and artificial intelligence: digital technologies and ethical values.”

The round table will take place in the very center of Russia, where Europe meets Asia. SUSU is one of the largest multicultural higher education institutions in Russia, which actively implements innovative technologies into its research and education process.

Round table will be held at the South Ural State University. SUSU is one of the largest multicultural universities in Russia, where innovative technologies are actively introduced into the scientific and educational process. This is a “smart” university, whose development strategy is based on the digital transformation of scientific and educational activities based on cooperation with corporations-world leaders in the field of digital industry.

The unique media platform of the university, which includes digital television and radio broadcasting, a multimedia newsroom, a virtual reality laboratory and other world-class media, provides excellent conditions for holding discussions on modern functions of journalism, issues of professional ethics, organizing fact-checking, teaching the process of verifying information of a new generation of journalists, and stimulating international exchange of students and teachers.
